Want to follow along with our Bible reading plan?

I posted a year-long Bible reading plan a couple year ago that was made to level out the amount of time spent reading each day rather than the number of chapters read per day. Last year we made and followed a different plan, and this year we have yet another, that I never got around to posting…

But lately I’ve been thinking about how I want to use this blog. I have had a list of theological topics I want to develop and write on for years, and intended for this blog to be impetus for me to get around to writing them, but they take a long time to research and write out well, so I just haven’t.

But, as I’ve been going through these reading plans with friends over the last few years, I have a lot of smaller ideas that are much easier to think and write about, but that might be of some benefit to others working their way through the same readings.

So my plan is to start posting those thoughts here for anybody who wants to join us in the reading plan. I don’t expect to have something worth posting every day, but hopefully something to spark some thinking or conversation on occasion.

If you want to follow along with us, you can check out the 2023-2024 Bible Reading Plan.

This time around the plan covers the Old Testament over 2 years for a slightly more relaxed pace, and then it covers the gospels once each and the rest of the New Testament twice.
